17 weeks

Well I have definitely started showing a lot more in the last 4 weeks. This is a pic at 17 weeks. We have our next appointment on Tuesday which is also when they will schedule the sonogram for the following week!!!!

Smooched Nose Aidan

Well I apologize for the lack of posts lately. Cliff and I have been so busy. For a quick update, Cliff is back in school fulltime and is also working to finish our basement. He just got his grade back from his first research paper that included a note from his proff. that said it was the best in the class!!! So proud. The basement is going along well but I think it has become very overwhelming for Cliff. Poor guy has had no time to himself in weeks. He finished up almost all the framing and electrical work and next will be drywall, carpet, and paint. We are estimating about another 3-4 weeks worth of work being that he only has time to work on it on his day off (and that is if he is caught up on his homework). So keep my hubby in your prayers.
I am still nannying fulltime and seeing a few clients a week. Last week I put my notice in to the family I work for. I have decided to work through the summer and start staying at home when the kids start school which will be the first week of September. Cliff and I feel very blessed that God has put us in a place financially where this is possible. My dream job has always been to stay at home with my kids and keep the house and try out new recipes :) It will also be nice to have a few months with just Aidan before our new little one comes along.
I will try to start taking some more pics of Aidan. Here is a quick photo I took where I nanny. Aidan just loves going over there. He always knows the part of the day when Mitzi comes home. He will go and climb on the stool and lean up against the window waiting for her arrival. It's pretty cute.

McDonalds!!!!

So I really think that I could have a burger and fry from McDonalds everyday right now. I don't know if it is because I am pregnant or not but it is the only thing that sounds good and the only thing, at least right now, that does not make me throw up. Let's just say I am anticipating gaining a little more than I did with the last pregnancy :) Oh well, it came off last time, it will come off again.....RIGHT?????

Baby Bump/1st Trimester

So on Sunday I started my second trimester. I have to say that I am more than relieved. My morning sickness disappeared with Aidan right at the onset of my second trimester. All though I did get sick today twice, I am still trying to be optimistic. Other than throwing up 1-3 times a day....I say I am doing pretty good. The pregnancy seems to be going by very quickly. My due date is scheduled for November 14th. My doctor has informed me that since Aidan was a big baby and that I am smaller framed, that he will be willing to induce me as early as 37 weeks if I have started to dialate. So we will see.
As you can see I look the same in both pics (imo). I started showing between 5-6 weeks. This was very strange to me being that I didn't show with Aidan until 12. My doctor says it is completely normal though for your second. So far I have gained 1/2 a pound, which is fine with me.
We will be going in for our sonogram to check the baby's heart and see what the sex is mid- June. We are very excited and even have our names picked out already!!!
Oh and these pics have made me also realize that my hair is getting out of control....Just made a appointment to thin it out....Have to tame that Wild BEAST!!

Mother's Day

Cliff made mother's day absolutely amazing for me. It started of on Saturday. He and one of his friends booked a Spa day for me and my friend Natalie. It was soooo nice. We traveled to Sandpoint, Idaho and were treated to pedicures, a massage, and a facial. I have never been to a Spa before, so it was a real treat. Then on Sunday morning Cliff and my little guy brought me donuts and mik (my favorite breakfast food) in bed. Aidan and daddy then brought me my gift, which I wasn't expecting due to the Spa day. It was topped off by lunch at Red Lobster. Cliff really outdid himself. Here are a few pics of my weekend.

Aidan was really tired after our lunch at Red Lobster but still smiled when we asked him for a pic. What a trooper!


I had Natalie take a pic of me in my robe that is supposed to fit all sizes. I looked like a pregnant mini jedi knight.

Running Man

So Aidan was in an especially excited mood last night. He spent about 15 minutes running laps around the house with his two cell phones. He was having so much fun that we just had to catch it on video. The best part was that while he was running he dropped his phones, and we heard a very distinct, "Oh, no!" He can say several other things as well. Mama and dada are pretty regular occurrences. He can also greet Luther by saying, "Hi Lu." He's said okay and thank you a couple of times.
