March had been a crazy month. I took the kids home for a quick trip while Cliff worked on our delightful popcorn ceilings. I attempted to grab some pics when I could.

Urgent Care
It was bound to happen sooner or later. Our little Noah dove head first onto the cement off of a riding toy and split his head open. Unlucky for me, I was in Oklahoma City traveling home when it happened. My friend Heather and I rushed him to urgent care and luckily found out it wasn't too bad. 5 and a half years later, we are still broken bone and stitch free!
St. Patrick's Day
Our church recently hired a new minister for our young adults. I was thrilled to learn that their kiddos matched our kids' ages. We have been able to spend quite a bit of time with them in their first month. They came over on St. Patrick's day. Natalie planned a fun craft for them and a cute little lunch. I grabbed a few photos.

Noah and the Sink
This video is a LITTLE glimpse into our life with Noah. Noah is a different toddler when we are out of the house. He loves to be on the move and get out. At home, however, he is full of temper tantrums and moodiness. At this point, Cliff and I just have to laugh at it. We already decided that he will benefit from two days of preschool next year. We try to get him out as much as possible but the unexpected cold weather in Austin has made that difficult this Winter. He doesn't really like to play with his toys here at the house which basically means he just wants to get into everything that he shouldn't. Here is a video demonstrating that. I had been battling with him over this for about an hour and then stood back, took a deep breath, and grabbed my video camera. As Cliff and I always say, "Good thing he's cute."

Olympics
I was so excited for the Olympics! I think its such an awesome event and this was really the first time that I could introduce my kiddos to it. Aidan watched gymnastics with me last time but he was still really young. The kids got super into it. They always wanted me to tell them when team USA was up. They would chant "GO USA" over and over. Aidan liked any event where he could watch people "Crash." He also really liked China. His favorite color is red and his friend Gabriella just got back from there and told him about it her trip. He has been "practicing" his Olympics a lot. This basically means he just runs as much as he can :-) He also informs me quite often that he is going to marry Gracie Gold when he grows up!
I decided to do an Olympic craft with them. It took about three days but they had so much fun with it. We spent one day painting the plates in the different colors. Then, on the next day, we put glitter over them. Finally, we put it all together and mounted it. Noah's part was finger painting one plate. He did this for about 15 seconds then was just interested in painting himself.
Like usual, I posted the final result on social media. A newscaster from KXAN here in Austin contacted me and asked for information on the project. She then asked if she could get it on the news and I of course said yes! I provided the clip! GO TEAM USA!

Father/Daughter Banquet
Cliff and Ryla went to our church's annual father/daughter banquet last week. The theme was "winter wonderland." Ryla asked about every 5 minutes of the day if it was almost time for her date with Daddy. Cliff got her some flowers and we borrowed a Frozen dress from a friend to coordinate with the theme. They had a great time and it will be fun to watch them go each year.

Noah turns 2!
Hard to believe that our baby is 2 years old!!! He woke up to presents in the living room. He was so excited! He was particularly fond of his yo gabba gabba pajamas. The kids spend all morning playing with his new toys and then we had mini cupcakes with lunch. A fun day at home in our jammies! Happy birthday baby Noah! We love your spunk and energetic spirit!
