The little things

I know this isn't a great photo but I wanted to post it anyway.  Bedtime can often be a crazy time at our house.  It was like that the other night when we were battling with Noah to get a diaper on and fighting over who is going to use the bathroom first.  At one point I had to take a deep breath and step back.  It was then that I grabbed my phone to take this pic.  

Playing in the Mud

Very thankful we have had such awesome weather.  We spend almost all day outside right now.  Their favorite activity at the moment is sprinklers under the trampoline and then playing in the mud.  It is a huge mess but so much fun!

The "Band"

Last week my kids started a "band."  They have been practicing almost daily!  But of course, only when Daddy is out!  Lucky me!  Aidan has been asking for real drums for a couple of years now!  I think I have run out of excuses……  But aren't they cute!!!

Meeting Great Grandpa!

My kids were blessed with the opportunity to meet their Great Grandpa last weekend.  He flew in from Wisconsin to stay with my Uncle David and came down to Austin for a few days.  We had a great time.  He was able to join us for church Sunday morning to.  Of course he also did the traditional spoiling and got all the kids some gifts!  We love you Grandpa!!!

Easter 2014

We had a wonderful Easter week.  The kids actually let me get some pics of them on Sunday morning. I would even say they enjoyed it!

We had a hunt for them in our backyard.  Noah is still in the cute stage where he finds an egg and sits and wants to play with it instead of continuing the hunt.  Aidan was sweet and put eggs in his basket for him.  After the hunt we dyed some eggs and ready the resurrection story from Aidan's comic book Bible.  We then had the wonderful gift of taking communion together.  The kids loved hearing Cliff explain to them how special the opportunity to do this is.  Finally, on Easter day, we ended the evening watching Narnia.  All three of the kids love this movie but it is especially precious to hear Aidan talk about the similarities of Jesus and Aslan.

Our Tiny Dancer!

I went up to the pre-school a few weeks ago for their Western Day.  I was able to catch this precious movie of Ryla dancing in the gym.  

Window art fun!

My kids seem to either love drawing on the windows or they have not interest.  The other night they were very excited about it.  They looked so cute in their little jammies!  Perfect right before bedtime event
