"Cliff WAKE UP!"

The other night I was nursing Noah around 2:30 a.m. and became scared to death when I heard a thud and saw the hall light come on.  I immediately woke up Cliff.  He was just as scared as me.  He quietly made his way to our hallway and peaked around the corner to find our little Aidan using the bathroom. We were so impressed.  This means that in the middle of the night, Aidan climbed down from his bunk bed and turned the lights on himself, went potty, and then returned to bed.  He is getting soooo big!

Hip Hip Hooray for Technology

I am not the biggest fan of technology but I have to say there are many times when I really enjoy it!  One of those times is keeping in touch with Cliff while he is at work.  We are very blessed that he has a job the allows and encourages him to keep in touch with his family through out the day.  We facetime almost every day and are constantly sending pictures.  Cliff even had me facetime him one day so that he could get Aidan to take a nap for me and it worked!  It helps the nine hours go by a little faster.  Here are a FEW of the pics from last week.

 "Hey Daddy......Nap?  What's that?"

"I painted the wall for mommy while she was in the shower!  Aren't you proud Daddy?"

"We miss you!!!!  Hope you are having fun at work!"

"I am.  Miss you guys to!"

"Look what I made all by myself!"

"Dad I've outgrown this....What else you got?"

Sunday ( a day of REST)

Yesterday was a great day!  After church the kids all took three hour naps!!!  We then went in the front yard where they played in the sprinkler and Cliff attached our spare swing to one of our trees.  The kids thought it was pretty neat!  We then topped off the night with Sonic drinks!  Hopefully there will be many more Sundays like these in our future!

THREE!

Sometimes I still can't believe that I have three kids!  Sometimes I REALLY can't believe that they are three and under.  I get asked every week how Cliff and I manage it all.  My response is always the same.  I have GREAT kids and a GREAT husband.  I will have to do a post later on our daily routine.  It is a lot different then when I posted about it 6 months ago (mainly because I definitely don't get up early to clean in the morning, I'm lucky to have showered before Cliff leaves)  All I really know is that at the end of the day when Cliff and I plop down in bed to enjoy a few moments to ourselves....we have completed another day with these three amazing cuties.  Every day is different and every day we can't believe that God let us be their Mom and Dad!

Here are a few pics.  It is so hard for me to get pics of the three of them together, which is strange because they love to be together.  I will have to get better at that.

MO Ranch

We had the amazing opportunity two weekends ago to go on our church's annual family retreat.  It took place at Mo Ranch about 3 hours south of us.  There were, I believe, 37 families in attendence.  Honestly, I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know how my kiddos would do in the heat but they do sooooo great and had a blast!  It turned out to be such a blessing to go and spend good quality time with families from our new church family.  We definetely feel blessed!

We did a lot of swimming while we were there.  All the kiddos LOVED that!

This little boy served as Aidan's tour guide on the retreat!  He met so many new friends!

Ryla often times stole the show!

Worship time was AMAZING!

A snapshot of 5 of the ministers that attended.  Goofballs!

A Bear's Birthday Party

Aidan loves birthday parties.  He had been asking for awhile when the next birthday was.  It was then that I realized that we have a six month gap in our family without birthdays.  So I decided, after being asked about the 7th time, that it was his bear's birthday.  Aidan LOVES his bear.  It is almost always with him and I am petrified constantly of it being lost.  Needless to say that Aidan was very excited to hear his bear's birthday was coming up.  He informed me that his bear wanted cupcakes for his cake and that he had asked for a fishing poll so that he could go with him fishing when he went with Uncle Kevin.  Luckily, we have had a spare unopened fishing poll in our garage for awhile so it was perfect.  Aidan also stated that he wanted his friends the Armbrusts there to help celebrate.  Here are some pics.

Singing the Happy Birthday Song

He even got presents!

Enjoying a cupcake!

Aidan made sure Bear got a taste!

Lots of bears came for the party.  It was a great time!
