9 Months and counting

Well Aidan is 9 months old today believe it or not. As you can see from the previous video he is scooting around everywhere. We thought we had baby proofed everything but Aidan has clearly shown us that we were WRONG. As a result, Cliff spent his morning off this morning nailing the fireplace gate to the fireplace and putting in another babygate. The little guy is obesessed with cords and insists on crawling under his crib to play whenever he can. It's kind of ridiculous but also funny. Here are some pics...

"Ready or not...Here I come!!!"

"What, me.....I wasn't going anywhere I'm not allowed..."

"Hey, How come I can't get this down anymore?"

"Ha Ha Mommy, Nothing can stop me!!!"

So I know I have been blogging more than usual lately, but things have finally started to calm down around here and I have decided that the grandparents just shouldn't have to miss out on anything!! Here is Aidan working out his leg muscles in his favorite toy!!!

Milestone #?????...Getting hard to keep track.

Aidan has accomplished getting here and there by scooting and rolling every which direction. He can sit up on his own and play, although he doesn't like to, and has been putting weight on his feet for awhile now. Today, however, he did something new. He is now able to hold himself up if holding onto something. So fun to see him hitting different milestones!!!

Cradle Roll

We started our new quarter for classes on Sunday monring. Over the summer Aidan was going to the toddler class because there was no cradle roll class. Apparently, last fall, there were no babies in the church. Over the past year, however, we had 5 babies born (a lot for a church our size, 250). Anyway, I eagerly volunteered to teach the class. I think it went well. My good friend Katie is helping me. We are doing the creation right now. We only had 3 on Sunday, but I think all 5 should be there next week
Aidan was a little stinker. The two other babies listened to all the songs but he decided that the empty seat next to him was way more fascinating and so attempted to get himself out of his seat and into that one the entire time. It was pretty cute. Here are some pics!!!

How we spent our Saturday morning....

Cliff and I decided to spend our Saturday moning at one of the parks here in Spokane. We got coffee at the park's coffee shop, looked around at the various gardens, and then finally went to see the ducks and geese at the pond. It was a lot of fun. Gazey was particurally excited. Here are some pics of our outing
