Our family had a great time with our first kid in a sport.  Cliff loved coaching and Aidan was always excited to go to practices and games!  Looks like we have a little baseball player in the making!  I can just see the big button on my shirt now!!!

Going Private

I have thought about doing this before but have always ended up deciding not to until now.  When I was looking at my blogs stats I noticed something that was a little disconcerting that has led me to the decision to make my blog private.  I will wait a month before doing so but in the mean time leave me a comment, fb message me, email me or contact me somehow with your email address and I will add you to my readers list.  I've just finally decided with the nature of my blog and all the creepers out there it would be better to have a little more control over who can view it.  So, June 1st I will officially make things private....make sure you message me before then so you can keep up with the happenings of the Mullens!!!

What do you in Texas during the summers?  Swim, swim, swim, and then swim again!  We got a kiddy pool, turned on the sprinklers, made water balloons and tried out two pool in our neighborhood all in one day!  Needless to say the kids had a blast an slept in til 8 the next morning which was AWESOME!  Looking forward to many more days like this over the next several months!

Aidan had his first sleepover in Texas with his good buddy Ryan!  It went great!  Ryan came oner and joined us for supper then the two played non stop until 9:45!  I brought our small tv in his room for a special treat.  They both thought it was awesome and they kept saying "I can't believe we get to watch a movie after bedtime."  Cuties!

Preschool Spring Program

Aidan had his last day of preschool this week!!  The year has gone by so fast!  His spring concert was too cute.  He was sad to have the year end but we told him that as soon as school was over he could start swimming so that made it better!

Noah at 15 months.

It seems like our baby became a toddler overnight.  I stopped nursing him at 14 months and the week after he got 7 teeth!!!!  He didn't have any teeth before that.  He is sleeping wonderfully and has a wonderful appetite.  He continues to be a climber and LOVES to get into the trash and toilet.  He has also started talking and it is super cute.  He had his 15 month check up last week and is a healthy small boy.  He is 20.2 pounds and in the 3rd percentile and 30.5 inches tall in the 28th percentile.

Ryla on Fire

I shot this of Ryla back in February and just realized it never made it on the blog.  All three of the kids LOVE this song.  When it comes on the radio they go CRAZY!!!

Peanut Butter

Ryla has been put on a strict not egg or dairy diet.  This has been interesting!  She was pretty found of cheese so wanted to find something that had some good healthy fat in it for her protein.  One time after she was refusing to eat her dinner, we offered her just plain old peanut butter and she ate a TON of it.  It has been our go to food for her.  I also get a kick out of watching her eat it!!!

Pillow Sheet

Went to get Aidan out of quiet time the other day and found him asleep in his pillow case.  TOO CUTE!

Bare Butts!

So I posted a week ago that Ryla has been potty training.  This isn't really true.  This may sound odd but Ryla is wanting to potty train but I do not want to potty train her yet.  I know you probably think I'm crazy.  My main reason is because she has to have another colonoscopy in July and I just think it would be easier after that "wonderful" ordeal and also because we have been house hunting and I heard that moving back tracks potty training.  However, Ryla does NOT feel that way.  She is starting to refuse to even wear a diaper and since I haven't bought underwear for her yet, she just is running naked.  She has even gotten to the point where she will take off her diaper, go get a new one, lay down, flip her little legs in the air, put the diaper on and tape it herself.  It is actually a very funny sight!!  I think I might have to break down and fully potty train her and just deal with the colonoscopy and possible move.  Ryla's style, as of lately, is a bare booty with heals.  I think it works for her!!
